Eggplant "Chernysh"
Eggplant "Blacky" for the northern climate
Excellent harvest without much care and expense!
This variety from the "Northerners" series combines specially selected varieties that, in conditions of insufficient heat resources and a short growing season, will delight you with a harvest.
An adaptable, hardy variety. Actively and continuously sets fruit even with temperature fluctuations and other vagaries of summer weather. Shows excellent productivity in the open ground of the middle zone. Plant height is about 50-60 cm. The first crop ripens early – 95-100 days from emergence. The average weight of fruits at consumer ripeness is 200-250 g. The largest ones reach 350 g. There are no thorns on the calyx. The flesh is tender, without bitterness.
Sowing for seedlings: continuous sowing in boxes with pricking out in the phase of 1-2 true leaves or in 6x6 cm cassettes, followed by transplanting into individual pots. Seedlings are planted out at the age of 50-60 days. Plants require support.
